Services

• Respite: Providing services to an individual in a social or recreational setting. Activities include bowling, going out to eat, movies, shopping, sporting events, cultural events, dances, and other activities that are offered in the community.
• Companion: Providing company to a loved one, participating in or completing different chores and activities in the house to provide help needed to ensure safety and a higher quality of life.
• Individualized Instruction: Teaching an individual daily living skills such as banking, shopping, meal preparation, telephone, laundry, and money management skills. 
• Surrogate/Case Management: Supervising and monitoring an individual's completion of specified tasks to help maintain their living situation and quality of life. This includes monitoring financial accounts, supervising personal care attendants where applicable, monitoring medications, paying monthly bills, monitoring the completion of household chores to ensure housing and living arrangements are not put into jeopardy.
• Overnight Respite: Respite that is provided for overnight relief. 
• Homemaker Service: Light housekeeping, meal preparation, food shop, and laundry
• Design Your Own Service: Combine anything listed above or ask us about anything you may need!

Fees vary depending on the individual, level of difficulty, time of service, distance, and miscellaneous costs (out of pocket, mileage etc.) 

Clients can be referred to the agency through the Department of Mental Retardation or can choose a private pay option to receive services.  Home Care services has 20 employees that are experienced in respite and other supports.  If you are in need of some assistance please do not hesitate to contact Home Care Services to discuss your needs.
